DOORS® Next Generation (DNG) is the future-state requirements management application for optimizing technical and programmatic communication, collaboration, and verification throughout your organization and supply chain. The DNG application is the next step in achieving business goals by addressing newfound ways for managing project scope and cost while allowing you to capture, trace, and analyze information. DNG offers a robust environment for importing, exporting, and relating a variety of requirement-related information, even providing an enhanced diagram feature to effectively describe your project portfolio. Overall, DNG can assist program managers / technical leaders to achieve an optimal process with strategies to ensure technical objectives are satisfied across the entirety of program life cycles. Instructor: Charles D. (Chad) Zolynsky is the Army Representative Deputy Program Manager for Susceptibility Assessment & Reduction. He is also the Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Digital Engineering Lead under the DEVCOM AvMC S3I division. Mr. Zolynsky is an experienced systems engineer with prominence in requirements management and Model-Based Systems Engineering. He has supported various Product Offices to include Utility Helicopters (UH) Modernization, Joint Air to Ground Missile (JAGM), UH-60V Digital Cockpit with the Prototype Integration Facility (PIF), and Infrared Countermeasures (IRCM). Throughout, he has emphasized Government requirement allocation, flowdown, and traceability efforts via the Technical Decision DOORS database and other tools. His awards include the DoD Army Civilian Achievement Medal for DEVCOM AvMC DOORS Training Development and the DoD Army Civilian Commander’s Award as the Systems Engineering Lead during the CIRCM Milestone C event. He holds Army Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Black Belt, Army LSS Green Belt, and Lean Enterprise certifications, as well as an M.S. in Project Management and B.S. in Industrial Systems Engineering.
