HEY UCA:) I’M QUINN AND I’D BE PSYCHED TO BE YOUR NEXT CANTERBURY SU PRESIDENT!
I’ve spent the past two years at UCA championing students at Union Council, expanding the social scene through Clubs & Socs, petitioning to extend studio hours for Canterbury students, and advocating against Generative AI. By voting for me, you’ll allow me to represent you on a larger scale, giving me more opportunities to enact meaningful change on your behalf<3

Should you elect me, you can expect.
Better Communication.
Schedule changes and timetable inconsistency plagues this university. I will push for a program that allows short notice rescheduling emails to be sent as texts and for lecturers to make their emails as precise as possible.
I pledge to act as a voice of the people. If the masses of UCA (that is you) put me in this position I shall act on whatever the public consensus declares!
I have fantastic judgement on balancing the dreams of the people with the reality of the system and plenty of experience acting and knowing when to remain neutral and when to push for what is right in not just my eyes but the people’s eyes.
From my course I have learned the art of listening to others ideas, working with them to polish the best bits and iron out the kinks and then add the fruits of our labour to the bigger scene at play. not my eyes
