Fall Training Conference

My FTC experience, despite being online, was pretty rewarding. I was part of the team that edited our skit video, and I had never edited a skit before (especially a zoom one), so this was a new experience for me. I also bonded with the other people I was making it with, which made overcoming the challenges we’d occasionally face a lot easier.

The actual conference itself was also something to remember. I was initially really intimidated by how many Circle K people there were (and how I knew virtually none of them) but I’m glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and attended the bonding sessions and some of the workshops. I had fun with some really cool people, and there were valuable lessons about things I typically didn’t see covered at these events, like mental health.

Overall FTC was a great experience for me as my first big Circle K event, and I can’t wait to attend the in-person version in the future!
