Key to College was a two day event held with Santa Rosa Junior College CKI filled with workshops and panels to help Key Club & KIWIN’S members learn about college!

Thank you to all Kiwanis advisors, CKI members, and Key Club/KIWIN’S members for attending!

Hello UCBCKI!

I can not believe that the semester is coming to an end! I guess time flies when you are having fun. This year our club faced the challenge of transitioning online. The first few months of transitioning were rough–we had to put a halt to our in-person events and find replacements that are equally engaging and enjoyable. Despite the challenges, our club has achieved so much this past semester. We continued our passion for service through online continuous service projects and Kiwanis family events, established three amazing families and new mentor/mentee pairs, and created new friendships through socials, inter-clubs, and our club Discord. Additionally, we continued fundraising for our four DFIs (we received 3rd place for most funds raised for Kiwanis Family House!) and created online newsletters accessible to everyone (what you're reading right now!).

Whether you are new to the club, or someone who has been in the club for a while, I hope you all have gained something from your experiences and will continue to make more memories that will last a lifetime. I want to thank you for joining UCBCKI. Our club would not be the same without you, and I hope this club will continue to be a place where you call home. We will continue to ensure that this club is a safe environment where we listen, support, and care for each other regardless of our differences.

I can’t wait to see you all next semester! In the meantime, avo’ great Christmas break everyone (haha..)

Kaitlyn Chieh, Club President

Fall 2020 has been a semester of many firsts. Thank you to the members, both new and old, and the board members for all their hard work and dedication!
