Service on all trolley rail lines has been temporarily suspended for renovations. But don't worry. Alternate service for the trolley lines is being provided through shuttles on MATA's new green hybrid electric buses. Trolley fares and hours of service remain the same - trolley passes will be accepted on bus shuttles. So you'll still be able to get from the Pinch District and the Memphis Cook Convention Center, run past Civic Center Plaza and Court Square, and go all the way to Peabody Place and Beale Street, the FedEx Forum, Nationals Civil Rights Museum and the South Main Historic Arts District. And you'll still be able to travel the Riverfront Loop, and take in the Tennessee Welcome Center, Mud Island and the Mississippi River Museum and the panoramic beauty of the 5-block long River Walk.
