MEET OUR STUDENTS MARLON BROWN Senior Manager of Technical Support / Bachelor’s in Computer Information Science “I am excited about the Online MBA program! I think I can appreciate it more now, at this stage of my career and my life. I can ‘talk tech,’ but I hope to become an expert at communicating, to develop a way of speaking, delivering, and presenting information in a corporate setting. I am looking forward to the connections, meeting people, making new friends and networking. I can’t wait to see how I’ll evolve as a person after having this experience.’’
PAULA ANDREA SMITH Senior Associate in Business Development / Bachelor’s in Business Administration “Now that I am acclimated in my job, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to get my MBA and develop myself professionally and personally. My company is an asset management firm that works directly with institutional clients that have a wide range of investment knowledge and expertise. My long-term goal is to have a seat at the table with the executives of these companies and have a direct influence on the financial decisions made.”
MICHAEL MORRIS Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve / Bachelor’s in Human Performance “You learn a lot of leadership and ‘people management’ in the military. I’ve been fortunate to work with people who’ve helped me with my business knowledge, but I always felt like I was a little behind, especially in understanding financial details. That’s why I’ve always wanted to pursue my MBA, but between the Army, working, and raising three kids, I never felt I had the time. The Online MBA program makes it manageable for me. I still have one more year in the military and there’s a better-than-ever chance I could get called to active duty again.”
