Welcome to Central

Transferring to Central is the right decision, and we want to make the process simple for you! If you decide to transfer to Central with an associate of arts or science degree (A.A. or A.S.) from another Oklahoma public college, Oklahoma Regent’s policy guarantees that your associate’s degree will satisfy all general education requirements at UCO.

Transfer Admission Requirements • 0-29 hours completed • 30 or more hours completed

• If you have less than 24 hours completed you must meet high school admission requirements. Those requirements are 2.7 GPA and ranked in the upper 50% or 20 ACT/940 SAT or 2.7 GPA in the 15 unit high school core. • Out of state transfers must have a 2.0 cumulative GPA. • If you have less than 6 college hours and are 21 years of age or older, you will be admitted under “adult” admissions.

Applying to Central See how your courses transfer at www.uco.edu/transfer 1. Complete the online application at www.uco.edu/apply. This is the application for admission and scholarships. You don’t have to wait until the end of the semester to apply! 2. Pay the $40 application fee. 3. Submit your immunization records (especially if you attended college prior to 2004). 4 Submit official transcripts from all colleges previously attended. 5. Submit official ACT scores, if necessary.

Incoming transfer students can take part in the advisement and enrollment process at UCO through one of the following methods:

Transfer Enrollment Days New students can complete course placement testing, visit with an academic advisor and enroll early! You can also get your student ID card, visit with Housing and Dining Services and much more. This optional program is your only chance to enroll early. The cost is just $25. Schedule your appointment at www.uco.edu/fye.

Enrollment Central Online You can complete this self-paced, web-based orientation at www.uco.edu/fye. If you are unable to attend Transfer Enrollment Days, this provides the same information and helps you get started at Central.

The best way to learn if Central is right for you is to experience our beautiful, friendly campus for yourself! Guided campus tours are offered at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. weekdays during the fall and spring semesters and at 10 a.m. weekdays during the summer and last about an hour and a half. Tours are free, but sign up is required at www.uco.edu/tours.
