STUDENT STORY

DAVID he/him

I found my Triton family by getting more involved in the campus. First, with the Black Resource Center, where I’m a peer guidance leader, and then also joining clubs like the Sustainable Investment Group, where I’m a co-vice president of equity research. I just make sure to involve myself with my interests and my personal life here on campus.

Just be yourself – there’s no one like you. And it’s important to share that with everyone, because that’s the only way we’re going to make the world a better place.

LIVING ON CAMPUS

BRC.UCSD.EDU/COMMUNITY/HOUSING.HTML

Undergraduates who live on campus can reside within one of our comfortable residence halls and apartments, but UC San Diego also offers several options for those interested in cultural or lifestyle housing. The African Black Diaspora Living-Learning Community (ABDLLC) emphasizes an environment of personal and academic excellence through the affirmation and celebration of Blackness in its various expressions. Students interested in the ABDLLC must apply for a spot.

Other living-learning communities on campus include:
