Advice for Preceptorships! ▪ Be curious - if there’s something you want to know more about, project to work on or someone you want to meet - ask. ▪ Network - you may find your interest through meeting someone. Also, the healthcare industry is a small world which can open a potential opportunity for you. ▪ Immerse yourself - if anyone asks if you want to sit in on a meeting, work on a project...etc. DO IT. Great opportunity to learn and get the full experience. ▪ Carry a notebook to take notes during meetings and review on a monthly basis ▪ Ask to be a part of a variety of projects to grow your scope
