ALCP is an intensive English program that provides students the opportunity to learn English. Many ALCP students extend their stay and enroll in University of Idaho courses.

Granted to applicants who qualify academically, but have not yet achieved minimumEnglish language requirements for full admission.

Cooperative Education (Co-op Program): College of Engineering & College of Business & Economics

https://www.uidaho.edu/current-students/career-services/jobs-internships-co-ops/coop Students studying in the College of Engineering or the College of Business & Economics can participate in the University of Idaho’s Co-op Program. Students can earn $18,000-$28,000 while gaining skill-based, industry experience. The Co-op Program allows students to alternate classroom study with meaningful employment.

International students are eligible to participate in the Co-op Program. Participation in a co-op/internship counts toward the student’s Curricular Practical Training (CPT) hours. All international students seeking this opportunity will need to work with Co-op Program staff and the International Student Services office.
