Emeritus Professor of Law Dennis Colson “Idaho Law Students do Indian Law” Dennis C. Colson was the James C. Wilson Distinguished Professor of Law at the University of Idaho. He was a member of the faculty from 1975 to 2007. Professor Colson earned his Juris Doctorate, summa cum laude, at the University of Denver College of Law, practiced in Los Angeles and Denver, and taught at the University of Toledo College of Law. During his tenure at Idaho Law he taught in the areas of Contracts, Constitutional Law, and Indian Laws. He has been a frequent consultant to the Nez Perce Tribe. Professor Colson will be highlighting the contributions of Idaho law students over past years working on Indian law cases and issues.
