Hello ECHO Idaho, Woo boy, what a busy month. You too? Hopefully some of the information below can help support your practice. After all, our mission is to address Idaho’s critical health needs by providing high-quality and easily accessible continuing education to healthcare professionals. •

COVID-19 SERIES RETURN: Looking ahead, our COVID-19 series will begin meeting routinely beginning September 6 with an expanded scope that includes other current infections (yes, we will be addressing monkeypox!). MOC PART IV AND PI-CME CREDIT: We are recruiting for a Quality Improvement cohort to increase chronic hepatitis C screening rates for adults in Idaho. MDs, DOs, PAs: you can earn free - FREE!! - MOC Part IV and AAPA Category 1 PI-CME for participating. More on that below.

As a part of our ongoing Viral Hepatitis and Liver Care series, ECHO Idaho is offering free MOC Part IV and Category 1 PI-CME to participants who register and complete minimum attendance in a Quality Improvement cohort, focused on increasing chronic hepatitis C screening rates among adults in Idaho.

COVID-19, Monkeypox and Influenza Our series formerly known as COVID-19 has expanded its scope. Beginning September 6, join our COVID-19 and Other Current Infections series, from noon to 1 p.m. Mountain time on first and third Tuesdays, to hear epidemiological updates and review patient cases pertaining to these viruses.

MOUD Consultation Hours Think of Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) Consultation Hours like a phone call. Every Thursday between 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Mountain time, you can Zoom in, ask addiction medicine and recovery specialists a question related to opioids, buprenorphine, MAT, then get back to your day. No registration, just use the Zoom link.

Earn Your X-Waiver with ECHO Idaho We’re hosting our third (and final) X-Waiver Training of the year from 12:30 - 5 p.m. Mountain time on Monday, September 19 over Zoom. MDs, DOs, NPs and PAs: earn your X-Waiver for free with us in order to provide buprenorphine and other lifesaving medications to 30 or more patients with an opioid use disorder. RSVP here.
