Getting Involved College is more than just going to class. Getting involved as a student can be one of the biggest highlights of your college experience. The knowledge and skills that you can develop through co-curricular involvement may have a profound impact on your collegiate experience and future career. Explore the countless student clubs, organizations and committees, or contact Student Involvement and help organize a new club. You can also join student government by running for a position with Associated Students University of Idaho (ASUI).

Library Services Transitions can be daunting. The University of Idaho Library can help. At U of I, librarians provide research consultations for specific assignments, teach workshops that help you learn new skills, and answer research questions online or in person. Located in the heart of campus, the library is a central hub of student success. The library features collaborative study areas, group study rooms available to reserve, three computer labs and two quiet floors. The library offers 24-hour access during the week as well as food and drink options at The Fishbowl coffee shop. It is also home to the Making, Innovating, Learning Laboratory (MILL), a place to explore, learn and create using the latest technology like 3D printers, Arduino, Makey Makey and much more. The library supports the curricular and research needs of all U of I students, staff and faculty. It houses the state of Idaho’s most extensive digital and print collections — including Course Reserves, a robust collection of textbooks and other course materials available for shortterm checkout — which can help defray the cost of buying books.
