The majority of Science applicants for physical therapy, dental, pharmacy and medical programs are accepted.

Learn chemical analysis with cutting-edge instrumentation such as NMR and mass spectrometers.

Microbiology

Chemistry

Study the fundamental biological principles of microorganisms along with concepts in evolution, biochemistry, genetics and ecology. A microbiology degree prepares you for graduate school or a career in biotechnology, pharmacology, biological engineering or food science.

Explore the composition, structure and properties of substances, and the changes they undergo when interacting. Chemistry is the central science that deals with the materials of which the entire universe is composed. It gives you access to careers in education, medicine, forensics, agriculture, engineering, research, government laboratories, pharmaceuticals and many other fields.

Physics

Geography

Study the nature and behavior of matter and energy and build a solid foundation in mechanics, electricity, magnetism, quantum theory and thermodynamics. A Physics degree can lead to careers in the semiconductor industry, aerospace fields, geophysics research, sustainable energy development or biophysics research.

Explore the connection between humans and the environment and the formation of social, political and economic landscapes. You will learn skills in several fields, with an understanding of how analysis of spatial patterns can help solve complex problems in the environment, population growth, political and economic systems and other global issues. Geography majors get jobs at Microsoft, the State Department, the U.S. Geological Survey and a variety of other regional, state and federal agencies such as the USDA and the U.S. Forest Service.

Participate in a research team sending a drone to Saturn’s moon Titan. Use critical thinking skills to investigate the formation of black holes.
