Thank you to our Headline, Media and Port Sponsors
On behalf of the whole CLIA UK & Ireland team a very warm welcome to our 2014 Selling Cruise Conference where the focus very much turns to how we as a cruise industry can ‘make it happen’ this year and into the future. The cruise industry showed great resilience during the economic downturn and is now poised to enjoy years of further global growth. In the UK alone we have Britannia, Anthem of the Seas, Royal Princess and Norwegian Epic joining the already rich cast list of ex-UK cruise ships ready to welcome UK & Ireland guests. And in river cruise the industry welcomes 24 new ships this year alone. Each and every ocean and river cruise ship is able to offer to its guests - your customers - incredible destinations, exemplary service and a wide range of extraordinary experiences unlike anything else available, so we know that working together we can get more people to cruise, and more often. Ultimately that is what we want to achieve as an industry in partnership with our travel agent members and during the Selling Cruise Conference we want to provide the knowledge, insights and inspiration so we can all ‘Make it Happen’ A huge thank you to our Headline Sponsors Traveltek and MSC Cruises, our media partners Mail Newspapers and Travel Weekly, our hosts ABP Southampton, the cruise companies providing ships for visits on Friday and Saturday and all sponsoring companies, suppliers and advisors who have enabled us to create this event. Thank you also to our hard working CLIA team for their ongoing dedication and creativity. But most of all thank YOU for coming to join the Cruise Community. We look forward to seeing you in Southampton.
Don’t forget that when you are travelling down to Southampton or at the event itself, then you can always access our mobile website for any updates that you may need via
