ituated in County Down, Kilkeel is the southern-most town in Northern Ireland. The town is known for its contribution to the fishing industry, with Kilkeel Harbour being home to one of the largest fishing fleets in Ireland. Kilkeel has lots to offer visitors and holiday makers with its cultural heritage, delightful range of boutiques and an abundance of local pubs and restaurants to dine at. Silent Valley, situated just five miles from Kilkeel, is one of Northern Ireland’s top visitor attractions. Known locally as The Valley, the reservoir is in the Mournes Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Also situated just outside the picturesque town of Kilkeel is the breathtaking Cranfield Beach. This south facing beach offering idyllic views from the majestic Mourne Mountains is the perfect holiday destination this summer.
