engineering In your first year, a specially designed course immerses you in multidisciplinary engineering activities that have you working in teams and gaining hands-on experience. In your senior year, a capstone project will enable you to demonstrate your engineering knowledge and skills with a team of your peers and professionals facing real-life challenges.

The College of Nursing & Health Sciences offers the university’s two professional health science degrees—Nursing and Medical Laboratory Science. Students in both majors will begin taking health science courses during their first year. Corsairs The Corsairs have a long history of outstanding athletic performance. We compete in the NCAA Division III, and about 375 UMass Dartmouth students participate on 17 teams.
In addition to successes on the court and in the field, our student athletes excel in the classroom, earning higher average GPAs than the student population at large. Last year 30 student-athletes earned All-Conference honors from both the Little East and MASCAC.
