Label your product according to Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) 10.15.04.16. Any food product sold in Maryland needs a label that includes at least: 1. the product identity. 2. a product quantity statement (whether number of pieces or weight). 3. ingredients listed from greatest to least. 4. the name and address of the producer or distributor. Also, Make no health claims. Include allergen info. Include a lot number or tracking number to identify field of origin and harvest/dry date. This is helpful for traceability and recall events. Label with the instructions to add boiling water (212°F or 100°C) for teas.
