Triton Take-Off Weekend is the University of Missouri-St. Louis’s premier extended orientation program for new students. It is designed to aid incoming students in their transition to college by developing a diverse social network of classmates, upperclassmen, and faculty & staff members, while strengthening their bond to UMSL through the introduction of campus culture and traditions. Expect to have lots of fun at your own pace virtually with a few in-person. You will have the chance to meet new people, learn about the UMSL campus, answer your questions, and so much more.

Edible Pancake Art with Dancakes: Have you ever wanted to create your own work of art in the form of a pancake? Tonight is your lucky night! Learn to draw intricate and beautiful designs all from pancake batter. Note: This event is kid friendly. A supply list will be provided to registrants. The first 50 people to register will receive complimentary pancake art supplies (available to pick up from the Student Involvement office). Magic Mystery Unveiled with Circus Kaput: The mystery of magic is oftentimes kept a secret. But tonight is your chance to not only watch a funny & entertaining magic show, but also to learn the deep dark secrets behind the tricks. Note: This event is kid-friendly (rated PG-13) (All sponsored by Office of Student Involvement) *Kid Friendly & Commuter Cash Event First Year Experience Course Meetings with Instructors & Peer Leader – Sunday, August 23 Meet your first year experience instructor, peer leader, and fellow classmates prior to the first day of class. Learn class expectations, and engage in conversations with your peers to get excited to embark on this new journey together this semester. You will need to look on your Canvas class site to find out dates/times and login information for this virtual event. Student Involvement Week - Monday, August 31 to Friday, September 4 Expo provides student organizations and campus departments the opportunity to showcase their organizations and services to new and returning students as a way to stimulate involvement in their areas of interest.
