Grab your friends and join your WOW Crew leader to explore St. Louis! You will travel on the Metro to various locations around the St. Louis area to become familiar with the Metro and hot spots in your new city. Locations will include Downtown Arch, Galleria Mall, and Delmar Loop. Must bring Metro Pass & Triton Card ID!

Start your day off right with a morning yoga class. This class will be sure to help you reduce stress associated with the transition to your UMSL experience. Bring your TritonCard ID to activate your Recreation and Wellness Center Membership, and begin swiping in to use the facility.

Join us in this ceremonial passing of the torch to all incoming students. Academic Classroom Building Tours

Is an interactive program by GTC Dramatic Dialogues on racism, sexism, and homophobia especially for college students. This session explores the realities of being in a diverse student community and sets the stage for a lively discussion of diversity, building new relationships with others different from one’s self, learning from one’s mistakes, the cost to exclusion and how one can take small steps in their daily lives to enhance inclusion as being a member of the UMSL community.

Expect to have lots of fun! You will have the chance to meet new people, serve the UMSL campus and St. Louis community, identify your individual strengths that will help you succeed in college, and so much more.

Triton Take-Off Weekend is the University of Missouri-St. Louis’s premier extended orientation program for new students. It is designed to aid incoming students in their transition to college by developing a diverse social network of classmates, upperclassmen, and faculty & staff members, while strengthening their bond to UMSL through the introduction of campus culture and traditions.
