Maria Ignacia Ramos B.Arch. | Art Minor | Class of 2019 +1 (786) 609-2766 | mir23@miami.edu I am a Fifth year student about to graduate from the University of Miami Architecture Program. Starting from at my second year, when I believed I had enough knowledge, I took advantage of all the possible job and internship opportunities. I interned at ODA, one of the top architecture firms in my home country of Venezuela. Through my undergraduate career I have completed four internships in architecture and interior design. I am currently working as a computer lab assistant for the School of Architecture and also as a teaching assistant for first year design studio. I consider myself a very detail and goal-oriented person. During school I have learned how to approach projects through managing my time and the resources available. This is especially important when collaborating with others. I am honored to be a leader among my peers, not only for my approaches towards a good work ethics, but also for my willingness to help others to achieve a common goal. Sacrificing my individual time for the benefit of the greater collective team is how projects come into being.

Mariangeles Lacayo M.Arch. II | Class of 2019 Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The University of Virginia | Class of 2015 +1 (786) 502-7788 | mlacayon@gmail.com During my time at U-SoA, I have had the opportunity to study issues in foreign cities and propose solutions that are relevant to their socio-political aspects. A unique project was to design a wine interpretation center in Lavaux, Switzerland, a UNESCO World Heritage Center based on the design principles of phenomenology. I also spent a semester in Rome, which gave me the opportunity to explore vernacular solutions to architecture. I consider this to be a key factor when designing facilities that are meant to convey culture and sense of place. My first summer of the master program, I spent at SB Architects as an intern for three months developing my skills in Revit for construction documentation. I have two years of experience working in a globally known firm, Stantec, where the strong support and collaboration with my colleagues helped me grow and develop leadership within the design quality and control team. During this time, I also had the opportunity to work as a freelance design assistant for two interior designers in Miami, which allowed me to submerge in other phases of design from client relations and bidding, to construction administration. Professional Experience SB Architect | Architectural Intern, Summer 2018 STANTEC Architecture, Inc. | Hospitality Design Coordinator, January 2016 - June 2017 JUNE CUADRA Design, Inc. | Freelance Designer, June 2015 - August 2017 NMR Design Group | Freelance Designer, August 2015 - August 2017 STANTEC Architecture, Inc. | Architectural Intern, Summer 2014

Gabriella Feito B.Arch. | Minor in Art | Class of 2019 +1 (305) 904-7474 | gabriellafeito@gmail.com www.instagram.com/gabarch_/ I believe that architecture is not a single profession and never will be. It gathers the ideas of many disciplines creating a bridge between art and science. It is designing for the people, a collective act aiming to make our environment better. It is about creating spaces at a human perspective, not from the sky or plan view. That’s why, in my eyes, architecture should aim to collaborate aspects of social, phycological, climatic, past and present to constantly push the boundaries of architectures existence. I am a designer, an artist and a preservationist. Andrea Hernandez B.Arch. | Art Minor | Class of 2019 +1 (786) 907-0847 | ASH125@MIAMI.EDU www.asth.org Bachelor of Architecture, graduating from University of Miami. I’m a design Intern for C & P studio; executing schematic design, design development and construction drawings. I began my career in Valencia, Venezuela in a very small university that concentrates in a technical approach to architecture. In my third year I was able to transfer to UM where I experienced an amazing contrast between cultures. More so, I have come to appreciate the fact that architecture is able to bridge continents. Architecture for me has been a long journey, however I believe it’s a powerful tool that can change the world, and I want to be a part of that.

Sheinya Joseph B.Arch. | Entrepreneurship | Class of 2022 +1 (978) 601-9090 | sjoseph_23@yahoo.com Growing up, I have always been fascinated by the structure of the buildings involved in our daily lives. Through architecture, I seek to enhance the quality of life for people all over the world, whether it’s for personal desires or by essential needs. I cherish the idea of having the ability to design the place where one resorts to after a day filled with life activities, knowing that there, their desire for comfort is fulfilled. A place to separate their work and social life from their personal life or to even combine them together. I am passionate about reinforcing this necessity for the various needs and wants whether it’s through affordable or extravagant methods. My interests include real estate development and investment, property renovation, and interior design. In 2018, I obtained my Real Estate Salesperson license for the state of Massachusetts to further immerse myself into the business industry of residential development, thus allowing me to take part in the transactions that occur past the architectural concepts and construction of a building. I am a part of the USGBC student organization and collaborate with other members on project activities in the realm of sustainability and environmental issues. I am proficient in: AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe lnDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Lightroom. Other skills include hand drafting, sketching and analytical drawings.
