PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE The University of New Brunswick is not just a university — it’s a community. Experience genuine Maritime friendliness on our small, beautiful campuses. Be taught in classes where the professors know who you are and care about your progress. Our students are greeted with an abundance of opportunity — hands-on research, co-op and work study programs, studying abroad, nation-leading athletics, countless clubs and societies. Our size is not a limitation, it’s liberating. Our focus on being the best we can be means we are home to world-leading research institutes and some of the best professors in the country. It means we can adopt a philosophy of education that is more than just about being in class, but about engaging in experiences that forge your future and that help you discover your true potential. In 2014, we were named the top university in the country for entrepreneurship by Startup Canada. We have a tremendous startup culture here that has bred some phenomenal successes. Not all of our students will want to run their own companies but we just happen to believe that students will be better prepared for the future if they learn how to create opportunities for themselves and others, as entrepreneurs do. At UNB, we care about your future. I hope to see you here soon.

H.E.A. Campbell President and Vice-Chancellor
