GREEK ALLIANCE COUNCIL

2017

WELCOME TO CAROLINA!

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ACCEPTANCE TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA AT CHAPEL HILL.

Transitioning from high school to college can be daunting, but there are so any amazing ways to get acclimated to college life. The most positive, life-changing decision I made was going Greek. Greek Life can provide you with an opportunity to make such a large school more manageable. You will become best friends with people in your chapter that will foster lifelong bonds. You will be raising money and volunteering your time to support others in the Chapel Hill community. You will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills by holding officer positions. All of these things will shape what kind of experience you will have within the GAC. I am so thankful that I went Greek and I am so thankful that I am in the Greek Alliance Council (GAC). —RACHEL ALLEN, PRESIDENT
