Head Coach Matt Clark Third year at UNCW Eighth overall Alabama, 1997 Matt Clark, who shaped Colonial Athletic Association rival Georgia State into a nationally-recognized program earlier in his career, was named UNC Wilmington’s 11th men’s golf coach on July 3, 2008. In just two seasons, Clark has made his mark on the program by guiding the Seahawks to their first NCAA tournament appearance following a four-year absence from the championship tournament.
