Writing your personal statement can be daunting, so here are some handy tips to help get you started.
1

2
Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to write your personal statement. It takes longer than you think.
3
Start mapping out the structure of your statement to make sure you cover everything. A good start can be:
Part 1: Why do you want to study this course? Show evidence of motivation and commitment; leadership, teamwork and communication; and any evidence of research into the subject.
Part 2: What skills/experience do you have that will make you suitable?
Part 3: Why will you be a good student?
4
Avoid embellishing or plagiarising – it’s very easy to get caught!
5
