The first ever newsletter for the East 15 Creative Producing Course is here!
As we are the uk's only Creative Producing BA, we thought it was about time that we advertise some of the amazing things that we are getting up to on this course. Each month this newsletter will be providing a sneak peak behind the scenes of what we are up to. From film making to theatre tech, we'll be giving an insight into what we are doing across all three years of this degree. We will also be introducing former and current members of the Creative Producing family, showing what industry opportunities are available to graduates of this course.

Our first years have been taking full advantage of the range in their modules this month So far they have been keeping busy planning live events, sharpening their graphic design skills and developing their networks with other courses. Within their documentary module, the first years were invited to film with the first year BA Physical Theatre cohort They got to grips themselves with our collection of cinematic cameras and worked as Directors of Photography to practice their documentary filmmaking technique.
"As a former actor, it has been great to experience the rehearsal room from a brand new point of view. I have realised that acting as a videographer under a documentary setting, I had so much control over what story I wanted to tell, by where I focused the camera and who was in frame. The module has helped me realise that there are so many roles in the creative industry that I could enjoy besides acting."

WORKING ON A REAL PRODUCTION SET
The second years have been working on some very exciting projects this term so far. Most recently they have had the chance to work alongside multi-award winning film production house, 49 To Midnight Films
“THIS WAS MY FIRST PROJECT FILMING IN WATER, IT WAS REALLY INTERESTING TO LEARN ABOUT THE EXTRA ROLES NECESSARY TO MAKE IT AS SAFE A SHOOT AS POSSIBLE”
- LILLIS, 2ND YEAR
The project gave our second years a chance to experience the many roles within a production team from camera operation, boom operation, continuity checking to clapping and marking takes
