EXPERIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY To offer high quality products we have passion for motorcycles, attention to safety and maximum commitment. Thanks to these characteristics it has allowed the brand GIVI to achieve excellent results for thirty-five years in motorcycle accessories and cases. From 2002, Givi have also been successful in helmet production, combining together the deep knowledge of materials and constant technological research. GIVI have a challenge. We aim to achieve everything “in-house”, from design to manufacturing, through to testing the finished product. We are always thinking about the safety and comfort of the motorcyclist whether a home to work journey or a more challenging one. A new market that GIVI has decided to challenge with the same dedication and determination is the helmet market. The results are showing that this path is successful. Today GIVI helmets are appreciated for their quality, design, innovation. This makes the wearers think the helmets are “Made by motorcyclists for motorcyclists.”

SAFETY AND COMFORT: HPS R&D CENTER GIVI helmets are developed and tested in Italy. In the Research and Development Centre in Brescia the GIVI motorcycle helmets come to life, represented by the acronym HPS: Head Protection System. The focal point of the whole design phase is the biker’s safety, thanks to the deep knowledge of materials and the constant search for a balance between design and functionality; this gives unique shape, recognizable and technologically advanced designs. The staff at the R & D centre study every riding situation, considering the different weather conditions and the consequences of each possible type of impact on the helmet. In GIVI this information is transformed into materials, technical solutions, in order to ensure the maximum performance of the product. GIVI helmets, demi-jet, jet, open, modular and full-face... are obviously all typeapproved. A necessary status of safety, that the brand reaches step by step: from the initial analysis of Composite techno-fibers and polymers used as materials, to the final step in technological R&D HPS laboratory in Flero, the brand has been set up with the same equipment used by the Ministry of Transport for crash-tests, and has been recognized and certified.

CREATIVITY AND MADE IN ITALY Each new model is advanced tested by GIVI through specific equipment, to verify that all parameters are taken into consideration by the institution for certification do not exceed those recommended. From the behavior of the shell in the event of impact - coming to test and evaluate the correct density of polystyrene for a better shock absorption â&#x20AC;&#x201C; to the examination of each component responsible for safety, as for instance the buckle, through to the resistance test to tearing, retention (elongation limits), to the hold of the rivets . Additional laboratory tests are carried out to verify the point the helmet may slip off in the event of a accident, which must not exceed a certain degree of rotation with respect to its optimum position on the head.

MODULAR & FULL FACE MODULAR The latest generation helmet by Givi, often with double homologation, these are configured to convert from Full-Face to Jet helmet courtesy of the removable chin-guards. Within the Modular range belongs the classic opening types, nowadays the preferred choice for many motorcyclists due to the liftable chin-guard offering easier and faster fit. In this articulated category Givi was the pioneer, introducing before anyone else models with unique features. The importance of the Givi brand in this range of products is supported by the extensive range offered in the catalogue.

FULL FACE These types of models are generally considered the most protective; their shell covers the entire head except for the visor opening. Utilized by competitive motorcycle riders on the track, we see this helmet even on the streets, often the choice of Sport and Touring motorcycle owners. In the cold season it often replaces the Jet helmet for scooter riders.
