Good evening and welcome to our internationallyawarded Science City at Union Station. This evening is a time to recognize the remarkable and enduring support you’ve demonstrated that has now translated into the opening of a truly worldclass, new Science City experience for Kansas City’s youngest learners, their parents, educators and caregivers. Tonight, our Board of Directors and Professional Team recognize and salute YOUR vision and YOUR generosity that has forever changed the landscape of early learning in our community. Special thanks to our Honorary Chairs: Donald J. Hall and Bill and Carlene Hall and Event Chairs: Jessica Chanos and Rebecca Hall Coulson. YOUR philanthropic leadership has powered this largest expansion in Science City’s 20-year history. You have literally and once again put this awardwinning institution on the world stage. We are leading because of you and we are lifting children up in whole new ways. Thank you for making this strategic STEM learning dream a compelling reality. It is, indeed, a great time to be Science City.
