Dion Capron Jr. There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens; A time to be born and a time to die “Ecclesiastes 3”

It was a joyful day in the life of Lisa Bowe & Stephen Capron, when a beautiful baby boy entered the world on November 23rd, 1992. The baby was given the name Stephen Dion Capron Jr affectionately called ‘Stevie’. From time of birth Stevie was a bundle of joy; full of life and always a happy and loving child. At the age of three (3) years after numerous hospitalizations Stephen was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect where his heart’s mitral valve was narrowing at a rapid pace. Doctors told his parents if he didn’t have a mitral valve replacement within six (6) months he would not live beyond the age of ten (10). This was devastating news to hear for two young parents with their first-born child. However, Stevie’s radiant and jovial spirit as a toddler encouraged his parents to remain steadfast in prayer that a miracle would happen. Fortunately, God came through and prayers were answered as Stevie was able to receive his surgery in the summer of 1996 at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Following his surgery Stevie had no complications resulting from his heart surgery to date.

‘Stevie’ started his early education at Zion Foundation Pre-school. Following completion of pre-school, he moved on to Jordan Prince William School where he spent nine (9) years. He then moved on to C.V Bethel Senior High where he obtained his high school diploma.

’Stevie’ always had a working mind. After high school Stevie landed his first job at Melia Hotel, where he worked in the kitchen as a chef’s assistant. Due to his burning passion to be more than an assistant, he later ventured to Atlantis where he worked in the kitchen as a cook for five (5) years. He received numerous accolades and awards including Carmines Overall Winner 2018, Remarkable Service Award 2019 & Employee of the Year Nomination

Stevie lived his life full of joy, love and happiness. He was always the life of the party. He was humorous, witty and clever, always pulling silly pranks on his friends and family. While Stevie had a busy social life, he always took time to acknowledge his heavenly father and was a true believer. He would always take time to give reverence to God whenever his work schedule permitted. Stevie considered himself the best cook in the family. Following the passing of his grandmother the family made him believe he was the best. His specialty dishes included curry chicken and a spicy traditional Bahamian macaroni. His family never understood how his curry chicken and extra spicy macaroni crowned him king. Apart from being the best self-proclaimed chef he also named himself the ‘best singer '. For some strange reason he always thought that he could “hold a note”. Stevie was greatly loved and made a huge impact on the life of many and this is evident by the numerous amounts of people that gravitated towards his kind persona. His younger brothers Garland and D’ John meant so much to him and they loved their big brother the same. On Thursday July 21st,2022 Stevie was five (5) minutes away from home when he had a fatal car accident. Prior to being transported to hospital, while conscious a bystander told Stevie to recite the ‘Our Father Prayer’ and ask God’s forgiveness; which he did. At 1:18am Stevie was escorted by the Heavenly Angels from earth to eternity.

Chief Celebrant T’is So Sweet To Trust In Jesus’ 'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, Just to take Him at His Word Just to rest upon His promise, Just to know, "Thus saith the Lord!"

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him! How I've proved Him o'er and o'er Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! Oh, for grace to trust Him more!

I'm so glad I learned to trust Him, Oh, how sweet to trust in Jesus, Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend Just to trust His cleansing blood And I know that He is with me, And in simple faith to plunge me Will be with me to the end. 'Neath the healing, cleansing flood! Yes, 'tis sweet to trust in Jesus, Just from sin and self to cease Just from Jesus simply taking Life and rest, and joy and peace.

Mr. Claudio Infanti (Chef De Cuisine, Carmines) ‘Sweet Hour of Prayer’

Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer! That calls me from a world of care, And bids me at my Father’s throne Make all my wants and wishes known. In seasons of distress and grief, My soul has often found relief, And oft escaped the tempter’s snare, By thy return, sweet hour of prayer!

Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer! The joys I feel, the bliss I share, Of those whose anxious spirits burn With strong desires for thy return! With such I hasten to the place Where God my Savior shows His face, And gladly take my station there, And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!

Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer! Thy wings shall my petition bear To Him whose truth and faithfulness Engage the waiting soul to bless. And since He bids me seek His face, Believe His Word and trust His grace, I’ll cast on Him my every care, And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!

Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer! May I thy consolation share, Till, from Mount Pisgah’s lofty height, I view my home and take my flight. This robe of flesh I’ll drop, and rise To seize the everlasting prize, And shout, while passing through the air, “Farewell, farewell, sweet hour of prayer!”

Mr. Jervon Mackey Pastor Mario Moxey Elder/Participating Guest Clery ‘Will Your Anchor Hold In The Storms of Life’ Will your anchor hold in the storms of life, when the clouds unfold their wings of strife? When the strong tides lift, and the cables strain, will your anchor drift, or firm remain?

Refrain: We have an anchor that keeps the soul steadfast and sure while the billows roll; fastened to the Rock which cannot move, grounded firm and deep in the Saviour’s love!

Will your anchor hold in the straits of fear, when the breakers roar and the reef is near? While the surges rage, and the wild winds blow, shall the angry waves then your bark o'erflow?

Will your anchor hold in the floods of death, when the waters cold chill your latest breath? On the rising tide you can never fail, while your anchor holds within the veil.

Will your eyes behold through the morning light the city of gold and the harbor bright? Will you anchor safe by the heavenly shore, when life's storms are past for evermore?

g

Words cannot explain the way I feel of how you left me so soon. You expressed to me how you wanted to be a better son, but in my eyes you were perfect. I loved you unconditionally and still do. My son you made me a MAN. You made me responsible and made me want to achieve more in life if only to make yours easier. I love you and will miss your calls only to say ‘daddy I love you’. I love you my son, sleep on and we will have a glad reunion one day so you can teach me your one dance.

g He is my heart, he is my world. He has my heart. We run, we cry, we play, we laugh but at the end of the day he will always be my friend but mostly my big brother is here to stay. Boy oh boy I can’t believe I’m doing this all over again. Stephen I honestly don’t know what to say I'm still in disbelief it all feels like a dream, you were more than a friend to me you were a brother, annoying, caring, overprotective, jealous you were my brother Stephen and I refuse to accept this lost. No more “where the spot is” or “only a dogggg”. I'm definitely going to miss you. The life of the party, the clown of the crew, the highlight of many persons nights. Continue to take your rest and don’t party too hard up there.

I never dreamt that your young joyful life wouldn’t last. You really had an impact on my life. I love you my friend, whether wrong or forever right. A person to always compliment even after a disagreement. Oh so much memories, I miss you Stephen. You always said “good friends are better than pocket money” That maybe was your way of saying thank you because you were leaving me. I want to thank you, my good friend for always hearing my story. That’s why when things got better, I use to run tell you about the glory. Who am I to run to? I’m still in disbelief that’s it your heart so big, you never allowed a full day to go by with us being upset, the party starter, hype man and best dress. You were so full of life and always a listening ear. It's hard to think about you or remember a story without sharing a tear. I’m thankful for the years you spent with me. I’ll always remember you. Long live Stevie

You never said good bye. You were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why. A million times we will miss you, A million times we will cry. If love alone could save you, you would never have died. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place no one else can fill. It breaks our hearts to lose you, But you wouldn’t go alone we will meet again someday I know in a better place I thank God, He made you our brother while you were here on earth

Gratitude We, the family of the late STEPHEN DION CAPRON JR. ‘STEVIE’ would like to extend our deepest and sincerest gratitude to all the individuals who provided us with many expressions of love, kindness, support, and prayers that comforted us in this our time of bereavement . May God continue to bless, guide and keep each and every one of you. -THE FAMILY
