TERENCE

The late Omedius & Earliss Miller, rejoiced to the arrival of their first child on January 23rd , 1982, whom they named Terence Omedius.

Terence was a child full of life, stamina, and charisma. He was a well disciplined young man who displayed leadership characteristics inside his home, with his peers, and with others from the very beginning of his primary life

Along with his parents, Terence spent his early years in Long Island and received his early education at Glinton’s Primary School After his parents relocated to Nassau in 1990, he continued his education at Carlton Francis and later at The Government High School where he graduated in 1999

After graduation, Terence was eager to join the workforce, so he began working at Super Club Breezes Afterwards, being the ambitious person he is, he pursued further ventures, whereby he became the Office Manager at Nassau Propone, where he worked for many years During this time his quest for expanding his knowledge and drive for entrepreneurship, he started a business, and like his father he was determined to succeed He took over operation of Da Farm Bar & Restaurant, along with his mother as cook As time progressed, he later expanded, owned, and operated Da Farm Takeaway on Golden Isles Road

Terence love for his family, especially his nephew Regan whom he often referred to as his son, was admirable. His life’s mission was to always ensure that they were safe, protected and well cared for.

Terence’s drive for success was so passionate and enthusiastic, that he was determined not to get weary, and against all odds and challenges, he never gave up!

Terence had an inviting personality and was said to be “the life of the party” He was well rounded and made a positive impact with whomever he came in contact with. He was always clean cut and well dressed. He was very tidy and, constantly cleaning. He was consistent in all his ways, especially regarding punctuality.

Monday morning, September the 5th , the ambulance was called to Terence’s home, and shortly after arriving at the Princess Margaret Hospital, around 7:00 a.m., he passed away quickly and peacefully to the disappointment to everyone.

He was preceded in death by his Father Omedius “Bulla” Miller, his older Brother Lawrence Miller, his grandparents Oricon & Basil Rahming and Ronald Sr. & Ezilpha Miller.

Order of service

There’s a city of light

Where there cometh no night ‘Tis a city of beauty untold; All my treasures are there

And it’s beauty I’ll share; When I get to that City of Gold

There’s no sorrow up there

In that city so fair

And no sickness can enter I’m told; Shadows all would have flown, I will meet friends I’ve known

When we get to that City of Gold

Rev Perry Williams

Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, Just to take Him at His Word Just to rest upon His promise, Just to know, "Thus saith the Lord!"

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him! How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er; Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! Oh, for grace to trust Him more!

Chorus: When I leave all trouble and care, I will say good morning up there; I will have great gladness untold, When I get to that City of Gold

Won’t you go there with me To the home of the free, Would you see Heaven’s beauty unfold; If you will, come along We will sing heaven’s song When I get to that City of Gold

|

All Get To Heaven”

Sing the wondrous love of Jesus, Sing His mercy and His grace; In the mansions bright and blessed He'll prepare for us a place

I’m so glad I’ve learned to trust Him, Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend; And I know that Thou art with me, Wilt be with me ‘til the end.

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!

How I've proved Him o'er and o'er Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! Oh, for grace to trust Him more!

When we all get to heaven, What a day of rejoicing that will be! When we all see Jesus, We'll sing and shout the victory!

“When We

While we walk the pilgrim pathway

Clouds will overspread the sky; But when trav'ling days are over Not a shadow, not a sigh

Let us then be true and faithful, Trusting, serving ev'ry day; Just one glimpse of Him in glory Will the toils of life repay

Onward to the prize before us! Soon His beauty we'll behold; Soon the pearly gates will open We shall tread the streets of gold.

“Glad Reunion Day”

There will be a happy meeting in heaven I know When we see the many loved ones we've known here below Gather on the blessed hilltops with hearts all aglow That will be a glad reunion day

Glad day (that will be a happy day yes), a wonderful day Glad day (that will be a happy day yes), a glorious day There with all the holy angels and loved ones to stay That will be a glad reunion day

When we live a million years in that wonderful place Basking in the love of Jesus beholding His face It will seem but just a moment of praising His grace That will be a glad reunion day

Tributes

My Precious Son-in-law

You called me “Mom”, others called you “Bulla Boy”, Terence, Uncle, Bro, friend, BOSS MAN, I called you Son with a capital S. Terence, thank you for being part of my witty family. I am grateful for the time we spent together. I will never forget the way you looked at my daughter with those unfailing love glances and intense glaring eyes.

You, ‘Bulla Boy’ genuinely cared for her, protected her at all costs, admired and adored her with the intensity of your being, you cherished her, honoured her, respected her, were fully committed to her, were faithful to her, you, Terence, were her confidante. Your mindfulness and awe of her was so precious, you trusted her, very loyal to her, you valued her like the Bible says, her prize is above Rubies Constantly you spoke well of her with me and also your peers Terrence, thank you, for you brought happiness to Marissa’s life, but MOST of ALL you loved her with an Undying LOVE

You, Mr. Hard Worker, took immaculate care of your Parents. Watching you, I couldn’t be prouder I will miss you, so I pen these last words, so that others may know howSpecial and an Extraordinary GEM you were You are Simple the Best My son Marko found a real brother in you No precious gift or ornament can compare to you You are One in a Million. You are, I say, in the present tense Mr. Debonaire a treasure that will remain Unforgettable in our hearts and minds UNFORGETTABLE THAT’S WHO YOU ARE Words are inadequate to describe the affection and adoration, me, my children, and family have in our hearts for you

Terence, above all, you are a Child of The Most IMMUTABLE God. The God who is God of ALL gods, King of ALL kings, Lord of ALL lords Your God of Mercies and Truth I am so so sorry that you had to endure such suffering and pain during the last days of your life. You now have Perfect Peace and Perfect Health. Finally thank you for being so supportive to the end to the love of your life, Marissa You will call her religiously, whether you were well or not, every morning, to make sure she made it safely home and even before she closed her eyes to sleep You were so very consistent of your display of love, concern, and affection for her AGAIN, THANK YOU, MOM WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL. I was so proud of you in life and in your death.

Again, my BELOVED SON, as we celebrate your life, I give God thanks for this final time. Today is “YOUR DAY”, A DAY of Appreciation and to say Thanks to God Almighty for the SHORT Period you GRACED US with your IMPECCABLE CHARACTER, FINE Looks, PATRIOTIC SPIRIT, a MANOF INTEGRITY with GOOD MORALS; MANNERS FAREWELL MY BELOVED! MAY YOUR SOUL REST IN PEACE

Regan Tributes

I wish that I could tell you I’m not ready to let you go. But you’ve already departed, and my heart is feeling so low. I miss that little twinkle That used to light up your eyes And I miss the sound of your voice, Your laughter and your sighs. But most of all I miss The way you made us feel, Like nothing could ever harm us because Your love was so strong and real There are others here who miss you, And they’ve gathered here today Your life touched so many people, Who became your friends along the way. They want you to know they love you, too. And they’re filled with sadness and grief No one really wants to say goodbye, So we’ll just wish you eternal peace

Terence,

When I reflect on our relationship, one thing comes to mind A Beautiful Love Story To The Very End Our story had just begun, but during that time we shared something so special some people only dream of experiencing

You reminded me constantly that our meeting was not by chance, but by Jehovah’s Divine Plan, and you just knew from the very beginning that I was your future and destine to be together Thank you for a love so pure and unconditional it penetrated to the depths of my soul The amazing experiences and memories that will linger on in my heart forever A relationship filled with love, laughter, care, respect, support, and warmth

The irony of death is that we are oftentimes reminded of how precious life is, and how we should enjoy every moment I am so grateful that we got to truly enjoy our time with each other We were making so many plans, and there are so many chapters left to be fulfilled, so the morning you drove away in the ambulance haunts me to the core, because I, like so many others, never thought that that was the end

My heart mourns and I may never quite understand why, but I am content that you are at peace You brought so much light and joy to my life and to everyone around you Your legacy will be carried on because of the positive impact you had on so many A man of business A man of action A man who prayed A man with the sweetest heart A family man

Friend Is Not Enough

Confident, Disciplined, Organized, Ambitious, Dependable, Calculated and Considerate are just a few words I can use to describe Terence I’m truly blessed to have had him in my corner and by my side for over 30 years Taking on life and it’s ups and downs will have a different look moving forward, however I’ll find solace in the memories and unforgettable nuggets you left with me that I can draw from as needed Take your rest my brother the word friend is not enough!
