The stragety of this project is based on the research made in the Pohara Marae land. by implementing this analysis a development stragety was established. the introduction of riparian planting was used to improve water quality and stabilize the stream banks offering a new stragety of replanting to prevent erosion.

Master Plan The aproach in this proyect is the revegetation of the area and at edge of the streams to improve water quality.

Propose Zoning for papakainga The recomended location to expand papakainga site is placed in a strategic enviroment. Considering ngati koroki kahukura’s principle which consists in living close-by natural resources and enhance employment sector. it had been found the ideal location that is nearby the streams and crops.
17
18
roads networks Roads are strategically placed in a way that they encompass the site, making a easy acces to all space. making a new zone for car park with a pervious surface.
19
Pedestrain Flow The propose pathways consist on making new briges witch conects important fields.

21
22
Revegetation The stragety of the revegetation was based on highly slope, unareable soils including the daylighting of streams that have been covered by pasture land, these streams require 20- 50m buffer zones.
23
Crops Crops are arranged by the orientation of the sun and where the soil is best for them.
24
Cattle the proposal for relocating the cattle to provide a better economy for the comunity.
