Since 2015, DASHA has worked hard to create her own combination of photography style - fine art, creativity and fashion. It was this combination that began to attract a lot of attention and brought worldwide fame. During the same period, DASHA began to participate in world photo contests and over the past 5 years she has won more than 20 prestigious awards around the world. One of the most important awards was the victory in the competition from the Federation of European Photographers where DASHA won the Grand Prix and became the Best Professional Photographer in Europe 2020 This prize went to a woman for the first time and for the first time to an author from all over Eastern Europe in the history of the competition.
The main idea of all photo sessions is that everything is done for real. Real make-up, costume, accessories - everything is made by hand. Thus, DASHA achieves in photography what she wants - to be a photo-artist.
She has much experience in developing ideas for photography of any kind. DASHA knows how to work with a team, gathering and motivating all participants to complete the project with the highest result.
Animal prints often inspire me to experiment. Everything that is created by nature is perfection. I have explored other prints but the cow print has always intrigued me. I thought about this idea and started preparing. Immediately I ran into problems. I wanted to find a girl with voluminous shapes to emphasize the femininity of this image as a symbol of the mother.
I invited many women to take part in my project, but as soon as I told them what I wanted to do, people reacted with anger and shock. Many refused, saying that this was a great insult to them. Although this shoot was originally meant to speak about perfection, the reactions revealed a different outcome.
This story now speaks of how much the world has changed and how much people are in conflict, how much the opinion of others affects and matters to people. After all, it was the opinions of other people that many women refused to participate in this project.
Despite all the difficulties with the selection of a model, I still made this project. If you are interested in seeing the video of it’s creation please click the link on this page. This is many hours of makeup, hard and long work. A special distinguishing feature of my art is that I initially create art in the real world and only then do I start taking photos.
Many people didn’t believe that this was actually makeup. They thought that I did it digitally. The video is to validate my art and show people the process of my creation.
