The Black Book is a wrap and now it’s time to move through the colour ascension ladder to Copper!

Black had us in tears, challenged us to ask serious questions, gave way for us to express our sadness and rage! We’ve been physically muzzled (no matter your political views) we’ve been metaphorically shushed, sending the message that it’s not time to speak out or stand out. But what is most extraordinary is that most of us have seen a glimmer of light and followed it out of the darkness. It’s time to rip of all masks and allow yourself to be heard and seen! Inspiration and creativity have been exposed.

So now what? As scary as it is to sit in our own personal voids... what do we do now that we’ve decided it was ok to come out of the dark? It doesn’t mean the fear has subsided, we may not even feel fully safe just yet so this is where copper plays a part! Copper grounds us and connects us to Gaia, to Mother Earth. Copper says it’s ok to be a soul in physical body and it is possible to create heaven right here on earth.

If you’ve made a decision while sitting in black for the last few months it’s time to walk your walk and get ready to do the physical work necessary to bring this vision to life. You can no longer hide, you can no longer make excuses!

Are you ready to do what you love? Are you ready to make a career change? Are you ready to start that art series or try a new medium? Were you inspired in our planet’s dark night of the soul to take your work out into the world? Whatever your spark of genius was now is the time to act on it.

Copper is an energy conductor and integrates changes after an initiation. And we’ve all be through a major initiation these past few months... so use copper to support you in getting shit done!!

Paint with copper, draw with copper, design with copper and then SUBMIT it!!

United Colours of Design wants to see how you are using Copper to ground your designs, your artwork, your mood and your journey! What does it feel like to connect with Mother Earth? What does it look like to you? How are you expressing Heaven on Earth?

It’s time to be seen, so Send us your submission for review! This is not a job application, this is a forum for you to showcase your work to your peers, friends, family and colleagues!

Submission details:

• Who can submit? Artists of any kind, Designers of any kind

• Must only submit your original work, no submitting on someone else’s behalf please

• Read the above article in full before deciding to submit

• Your work should embody the description above, can use other colours but copper should be highlighted

• Send submissions to ucodmagazine @gmail.com

• Subject line must be: “UCOD Submission - Your First and Last name”

• Include one piece per email

• Limit of 5 submissions

In your submission email please include the following:

• First and last name

• Social Media links

• Head shot

• 60 word bio

• 60-100 word description of work

• Jpeg, png, pdf at 300dpi

• Your full mailing address

• Best number to reach you

Significant dates

• Deadline for submission: November 1, 2020
