Rajvi Patel has lived, worked and traveled in India, the Middle East and North America. Rajvi has over fifteen years of residential design experience, bringing her culture-sensitive influence to her design philosophy and practice. Red, has perceived negative attributes like danger, anger, aggression, etc., yet when used in interiors, this flamboyant and striking colour brings with it a warm, delightful vibe. A wide range of hues including crimson, brick, merlot and rust, provide endless ways to use this pretentious colour in interiors. We romanticized Red to be a warm, full of life and a playful design element in this client’s formal living room. Our client wanted red to dominate the space. We took this challenge to deliver an aweinspiring interior space. Red accent chairs bring out the boldness of the colour and are a conversation starter. The solid and patterned pillows are a fun pop of colour against a taupe background to represent enthusiasm. We scouted perfect rug and decor accents that blend in and strike a harmonious balance between red, pewter, mirror and taupe. Look what mindful interior design can do to a romantic, playful colour!
