KB and BK are two artists whose artworks are digital photography/drawing based, specializing in manipulation of visual elements from separate sources to create pieces of art that are thought provoking, inspiring, a comment on social issues, moods and feelings, and reflective of the world we encounter around them.

‘The Red Nation’ A partial quote attributed to Crazy Horse, repeated against a subtle 38-star red and white flag circa 1877—the year of Crazy Horses death, overlays a picture of a Piegan (a North American man of the Blackfoot confederacy) called ‘Bird Rattle’ circa 1910. “The Red Nation shall rise again and it shall be a blessing for a sick world; a world filled with broken promises, selfishness and separations; a world longing for light again. I see a time of Seven Generations when all the colours of mankind will gather under the Sacred Tree of Life and the whole Earth will become one circle again.” The quote goes on and talks of knowledge, wisdom, and the coming together of people in more peaceful times. ‘Scorched Earth’ I was inspired by a dream to create this piece. The longing we feel for the way things were. I was interested in the endless march of what some would call “progress”, but some would deem “damage”. While you don't mind progress if it's at a time of your choosing, if it is forced upon you it feels like damage to your way of life. Are we prepared to sacrifice others wellbeing to achieve our goals. Will we take away our children's rights to make the decisions we failed to make. The young cub wandering through the fires with it's favourite cuddly toy, a little lost, looking to the heavens and longing for the habitat it barely remembers, and for which it's parents reminisce.
