As the 2019-20 year came to a close, we saw COVID-19 looming on the horizon. Your gift to United Way of Denton County built and prepared us for this current storm by: •

Investing nearly $3 million to improve and transform lives across Denton County with our Network of Nonprofit partners; (p.8, p.15)

Releasing a report highlighting the struggles of Denton County’s ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) households; (p.4)

Providing backpacks with critical school supplies to 5,412 economically disadvantaged Denton County students; (p. 4)

Opening 2,000 sq. ft. of new mental health services capacity with the North Texas Veterans Administration in Denton County; (p.5)

Ending homelessness for 150 households across Denton County. (p.7)
