Sat 28 May | 8pm | £14
The untold story of the world’s first murderer.
An improvisation performance for five women directed by Wendy Houstoun (DV8).
After murdering his brother, in cold blood, Cain lives out his life exiled from his homeland haunted by figures from the past. Now he must retrace his steps back to Eden in pursuit of answers. A psychological thriller with a heart of darkness. Supported by Creature - Off The Ground, a new piece created with Merseyside youth theatres, directed by Grace Goulding and Dan Meigh.
Combining idiocy with skill, anarchy with meaning and costumes with music, five guest performers of high calibre (and low income) attempt the impossible (and quite probably fail). A nuanced look at the politics of being a woman mixed with chaos, the madness of creation and the fleeting possibility of making sense of it all.
