Applied experimental subjects provide each student with the opportunity of exploring complex practical problems using the most advanced instrumental techniques. More than half of the program credits are for laboratory practicals, fieldwork, company visits, etc. ENVIRONMENT AND LANDSCAPES PROGRAM
It’s a ground-breaking educative project for the Environmental Sciences degree and the double degree in Biology and Environmental Sciences students, that seeks to promote along its four or five years of studies, a deep understanding, scientific and cultural, of the interconnection between the human being and the earth. During the degree, the students will study on site the territory with a comprehensive approach, through numerous trips to regional, national and international landscapes.

Employment Opportunities
– Management of natural spaces. Planning, assessment and management of natural spaces and protected areas. In addition, graduates may work in territorial organization and management on the basis of comprehensive planning, strategic local and regional organization of territory, rezoning proposals and land preservation orders, and proposals for sustainable development in tourism. - Environmental management and government authorities. Project coordination and impact studies with environmental management and administration agencies run by government authorities. - Environmental impact studies and consultancy. - Environmental education, teaching and training. - Research. - Environmental Quality Control. Environmental Science graduates may work in negotiation and mediation in environmental disputes; the assessment, design and implementation of environmental policies, plans, programs and projects; and energy management, especially in relation to the viability and use of renewable energies.
