Where the foundations for the economic miracle of Liechtenstein were laid … • Built in 1882-83 as a cotton spinning mill by Johann Jakob Spoerry • Example of the first wave of industrialization in Liechtenstein • Ongoing conversions and extensions to ensure industrial utilization (including construction of turbine house, power station building, etc.) • 1992 Closure of the spinning mill
Jenny, Spoerry & Cie. factory complex in Vaduz, around 1915 (LI LA).
• Reconstruction with major interventions in the building fabric, but preservation of the exterior appearance • Used by the University of Liechtenstein since 2002

LHSV The Liechtensteinischen Hochschulsportverband LHSV) was founded in 2011 and is responsible for the development and promotion of university sports in Liechtenstein. This includes − Representing Liechtenstein before international bodies − Establishment and further development of a sports program for students in Liechtenstein in cooperation with the university − Sending Liechtenstein students to international university sports competitions (Winter & Summer Universiades, World and European Championships) More information under:
