Introduction The University Aviation Association (UAA) is a nonprofit organization that represents colleges and universities that offer academic degree programs in aviation at both the undergraduate and graduate level. We are pleased to offer this 2019 edition of the Collegiate Aviation Guide. The Guide is a directory of departments in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada, and abroad that offer academic degrees and/or majors in aviation. The institutions listed in this Guide are accredited by a regional or national accrediting organization as a degree granting institution and/or are listed in the 2018 edition of the Higher Education Directory. The intent of this Guide is to serve as a useful reference to prospective undergraduate and graduate students, as well as educators, and industry and government personnel. For high school students and parents in search of a college or university, we suggest using the Guide as an initial screening device to identify those institutions and locales that are appropriate for the student’s educational goals and individual needs. Students should then contact the institutions directly for detailed, current information. As part of the process of finding the perfect program, study the information available from several institutions, then follow-up with a personal visit to the institutions. The final decision should be based on consideration of all factors that relate to the individual student. In order to ensure accuracy of the data, extensive cross checking was performed with the surveys, earlier UAA publications and online sources. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of all listings. Representatives of institutions that find an error in the listing are requested to send a corrected version of their listing to uaamail@uaa.aero. New programs and institutions that qualify for a listing based on the criteria stated above may forward a request in writing requesting inclusion in the next edition of the Guide. This Guide is one of the many publications and services offered by the University Aviation Association. For more information, visit the UAA website at www.uaa.aero.

SCHOLARSHIPS CHANGE LIVES Scholarship awards are a major part of what Women in Aviation International is all about. Since 1995, WAI has awarded more than $11 million to its members to help them advance their aviation experiences or careers. There is something for nearly everyone, from the college student to the member returning to the workforce or looking to advance his or her career. Apply for up to three scholarships every year, and select from a wide variety of aviation and aerospace interests for pilots, engineers, dispatchers, mechanics, and managers. Visit www.WAI.org/education/scholarships for information on the application process and deadlines.
