THE JEWEL OF ARIZONA
INTRODUCTION PROJECT STATEMENT
RILLITO RIVER 1
2 This student project sponsored by The Tucson Department of Transportation and Mobility and Pima County Flood Control is aimed at reenvisioning the proposed Prop 407 Palo Verde / Camino Miramonte Bicycle Boulevard. The main goals of this design is to implement green infrastructure that will help mitigate flood concerns and encourage a complete streets culture that will provide safety for bicyclists and pedestrians into the site. These improvements will not only benefit the surrounding community but as well as provide a central “oasis of the bicycle boulevard that links to the existing bike loop around Tucson.
