About Us:

Founded in 1434 A.H, Community College in Dammam (C.C.D) is a newly established academic institution for higher education that enrolls High school graduates (all sections). It offers educational alternatives to meet the increasing demands and the constant changes in the social and economic labor market, and aims at providing establishments with skilled and competent workforce. C.C.D is a vocational college that teaches in English and offers Associate Diploma in two programs. The first program is Computer that includes three tracks: Information Technology, Information System and Computer Science. The second one is Business Administration program including four tracks: Investment, Finance, Insurance and Supply Management. The college will keep on planning and founding other vocational programs according to the strategic plans and the requirements of labor market.

Dean’s Message

The philosophy of Community College in Dammam is based on serving the local society by offering a variety of academic and vocational comprehensive programs that aspire to empower college graduates and to increase their opportunities in the labor market, besides preparing them for life-long learning. Furthermore, the college holds a significant future-vision of meeting the challenges of globalizing the human capital and achieving the requirements of “The national strategy to transform into a knowledge-based society.” It engineers an academic society that realizes the value of knowledge economics and its relation to educational development, initializes a life-long learning, and invests in students as the future of labor force. In implementing this strategy, the college also contributes in altering graduates’ perspective and improving their confidence in both economic and social stability, with an eye on assuring sustainability which, consequently; affects the increase of individuals’ productivity, raising the revenue of human resources, job opportunities, female participation besides nationalizing professions according to the strategic plans of the college and the University of Dammam.
