Virtual Minds: Exploring Psychology through VR
Immerse yourself in virtual environments to understand how psychologists are using VR/AR to enhance our understanding of the interplay of perception, cognition, and emotion. Recently, we invested £2.5 million in a new, advanced bioscience lab at our Stratford campus, expanding teaching space by 150% and creating more room for collaborative projects. Our Centre for Clinical Education offers training facilities in podiatry, physiotherapy, and adult nursing—the only one of its kind in London. It complements our strong reputation in physiotherapy, podiatry, sports science, professional health studies, and allied medical subjects. Explore our Simulation Centre with cutting-edge tools like 'Stan,' a high-tech patient simulator mannequin, during your subject talks.
Health, Sport and Bioscience immersive activities:
Tour our Primary Care and Hospital Training Hub and take part in clinical skills workshops
Students will practice essential techniques like urine and stool assessment, infusion setup, venepuncture, and measuring vital signs. Training includes bed-making, cardiac compressions, and an emergency resuscitation scenario, building confidence and competence in key clinical skills.

The following non-repayable scholarships are available for new students starting in 2024/ 2025 via a competitive application. Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of merit and need.
• Vice-Chancellors Scholarship (£27,750 over course duration)
• Dean Scholarship (£13,500 over course duration)
• Partner Scholarship (£1,000 in the first year only)
• UTC Scholarship (£1,500 in the first year only)
• Sports Scholarships (Up to £6,000 per year)

Postgraduate Scholarships
The Postgraduate Loan, as well as the opportunity to be awarded from our financial package of postgraduate scholarships, can help with course fees and living costs while you study a master’s course.
Our Student Money Advice and Rights Team (SMART) provide personal advice about fees and funding options, including our generous package of scholarships and bursaries.

I didn't grow up with loads of money and studying in London didn't seem like an option for me. I applied for the Vice Chancellor Scholarship and getting it has meant I can live in halls and get the full university experience.
