Free Shuttle Bus: We offer a free shuttle bus service between all three of our campuses. The schedule can be found at the registration desks.

Finding Your Way

University Square Stratford is one of London's most modern and well-equipped campuses. It is home to our institute of Performing Arts and we teach business, law and criminology here too. Our Legal Advice Centre gives students the opportunity to give back to the community by offering free advice to those unable to pay for it.

Collaboration at its most creative. This is The Source

The Source has been created in a partnership between the University of East London and Newham’s Youth Empowerment Service - uniting the university and our vibrant community. The Source combines an incubator for creative expression and live performance, a youth zone for young people to explore their social and emotional learning, and performance spaces used for learning and hire. With our programme of education, collaborative workshops and creative events delivered by the partnership, we are a platform for young people, emerging artists and entrepreneurs from every kind of background. Take a tour of The Source following your subject talk. The Source is a short walk from USS and will be led by a member of staff.

As a profoundly deaf student I am excited to study Media Production at the University of East London. I am supported through my studies and am learning so much to benefit my future career. I want to change perceptions and show deaf children that anything is possible for their future.

Undergraduate Scholarships

The following non-repayable scholarships are available for new students starting in 2024/ 2025 via a competitive application. Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of merit and need.

• Vice-Chancellors Scholarship (£27,750 over course duration)

• Dean Scholarship (£13,500 over course duration)

• Partner Scholarship (£1,000 in the first year only)

• UTC Scholarship (£1,500 in the first year only)

• Sports Scholarships (Up to £6,000 per year)

Postgraduate Scholarships

The Postgraduate Loan, as well as the opportunity to be awarded from our financial package of postgraduate scholarships, can help with course fees and living costs while you study a master’s course.

Our Student Money Advice and Rights Team (SMART) provide personal advice about fees and funding options, including our generous package of scholarships and bursaries.

To find out about the Postgraduate Loan, please attend one of our finance talks where we will explain how the scheme works. You can also find out about our scholarships, including how to make an application for our Postgraduate Scholarship, and receive up to 50% off your course fees.

I didn't grow up with loads of money and studying in London didn't seem like an option for me. I applied for the Vice Chancellor Scholarship and getting it has meant I can live in halls and get the full university experience.
