We have a dedicated range of services to support you throughout your time at Huddersfield.

Academic support

We offer a range of academic support services to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, to help you get the most out of your studies. These include:

• Academic Skills Tutors

• The Library

• IT Support.

Wellbeing Services

Our Wellbeing Services are on hand to offer advice, support and guidance to strengthen your wellbeing and personal development. We can support you in just about anything at all; no problem is too big or too small.

Disability Services

The Disability Services team offer confidential advice and guidance with a focus on you and the support you need. We will work alongside you to identify the support you require and to put this into place for your studies.

Supporting your faith

It doesn’t matter what your beliefs are, everyone is welcome to come along to our Jo Cox More In Common Centre, a place for reflection for students from all faiths and backgrounds.

The University Health Centre

The University Health Centre houses doctors and nurses who can provide advice on medical queries including sports injuries, rehabilitation, travel vaccines, your mental health, relaxation and stress.

Supporting your safety

We have a dedicated security hub, open and staffed 24-hours a day, 365 days a year, monitoring CCTV and providing security advice and assistance, supported by trained and knowledgeable security staff. We also have our own dedicated Campus Police Officer based at the centre of campus.

Our International Student Support Advisers are here to help you throughout your journey with us; from support with your application or enrolment to information about moving to the UK and settling into life in Huddersfield.
