At UNT, we believe in making food the old-fashioned way, using quality ingredients and taking the time to prepare fantastic, flavorful food — which is why we’ve been ranked 2nd in the nation as a college with the best food by Delish.com. Whether you’re dashing into the Union for a quick pick-meup or sitting down to dinner with your friends in one of our dining halls, you’ll find exactly what you need to fuel your day.

FORGET EVERYTHING YOU THINK YOU KNOW ABOUT DORM FOOD Something for everyone: Mean Greens Café

was the first all plant-based university dining hall in the nation, and each dining hall offers a vegetarian line. But we also have plenty of options for carnivores, including hand-carved, slow-roasted beef in the Bruceteria. You’ll have even more options when our new state-of-theart dining hall opens in the fall.

Sweet tooth approved: Cookies, pies, muffins, bagels and desserts are created fresh daily in the Clark Hall Bakery, and we even make our own brand of homemade ice cream. A quick bite done right: Chick-fil-A, Burger King, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Taco Bueno and Jamba Juice are just a few of your nom options in the University Union, or you can grab coffee from the largest Starbucks in the area.

T he freshest fare: Not only is our food made from scratch on campus, our ingredients are locally sourced whenever possible to bring you the best taste with the least waste.
