LEAD WITH PURPOSE
Today’s businesses and organizations have multifaceted and immersive relationships with stakeholders from all walks of life, including employees, customers, partners, communities, and more. With the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) degree, you will learn to navigate these complex relationships, make ethical decisions, and integrate personal, organizational, and societal influences to lay the foundation for success. With interactive assignments and hands-on application of knowledge, you will be equipped with critical 21st century business skills to be a catalyst for change and to lead with purpose.
MASTER LEADERSHIP SKILLS
Graduates of the M.S. in Organizational Leadership will learn valuable knowledge and skills that can be applied to a broad range of managerial and executive positions. Our program combines management and leadership theory with hands-on application to prepare you to:
→ Integrate organizational behavior and leadership theory to effectively address issues related to talent management
→ Develop proficiency in building a culture of trust and managing performance of diverse groups
→ Utilize principles, theories, and methods of leadership and management to address issues related to organizational effectiveness

THE PURPOSEFUL LEADERSHIP INITIATIVE
Launched in 2018, the Purposeful Leadership Initiative is an integrated education, research, and outreach enterprise that aims to positively affect leadership styles, skills, and approaches undertaken by students and professionals.
Housed within the initiative is the Banta Center for Ethical and Purposeful Leadership, a forum for conversation, inquiry, and debate on ethics as the foundation for excellence in individual and organizational decision-making.
The initiative also sponsors the 21st Century Leadership Speaker Series, which recognizes and celebrates leaders in the community who practice purposeful leadership.

The School of Business & Society will carefully review your application with a holistic approach, recognizing that individuals from a variety of backgrounds and experiences can benefit from a graduate business education. We consider all elements of your application and may also take into account additional support such as test scores, life and work experiences, interviews, and letters of recommendation.
