OUR COURES

We offer a variety of courses to suit your individual needs, including; Traditional 3-year undergraduate degrees or four-years with year placement, one-year master’s degrees and some two-year master’s degrees with a placement, and an International Foundation Year. We also offer part-time study options.

ACADEMICS

Our academics are subject experts, and many are active professional practitioners. They regularly collaborate with employers and professional bodies to make your learning relevant to your future career.

TEACHING

You will be taught in a variety of ways, from lectures and seminars to field trips and laboratory lessons. We encourage critical thinking and group work and live projects, helping you build skills in communication and team work. Many of our courses include the opportunity for work placements and to study or work abroad, so you can gain highly valuable experience before entering your chosen career.

ACCREDITATION

External professional bodies, such as the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, the British Psychological Society and the Chartered Institute of Marketing, accredit many of our courses.

TAUGHT COURSES

International students are able to choose from over 200 taught courses, with many accredited by professional organisations. All of the courses will provide you with a strong foundation to develop your future career and equip you to enter the world of work confidently.

RESEARCH

We group our research into centres of excellence (see page 82 for details). Many of our researchers are internationally renowned and offer a wealth of supervisory opportunities. We offer research degrees that can be studied full-time, part-time, and by distance learning.
