Clinical Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program Clinical Excellence through Graduate Education


Clinical Orthopaedic Residency USA’s Clinical Orthopaedic Residency provides a portable, challenging, and comprehensive balance of clinical practice and didactic coursework. Portable: Participants can pursue their Residency at any qualified site in the country, have the option to complete their program in 1-3 years, and access almost all coursework and resources online. Challenging: Residents receive post-professional training in examination, evaluation, clinical reasoning, orthopaedic skills, and patient management based upon the practice dimensions described in the Description of Specialty Practice for Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. Comprehensive: Participants can also earn academic credit toward the transitional DPT, EdD, or DHSc programs at the University of St. Augustine.

Why USA’s Residency Program?

USA’s Clinical Orthopaedic Residency program is designed to help new clinicians develop their skills and knowledge base, and prepare for the OCS exam. USA’s Orthopaedic Residency offers physical therapists the opportunity to enhance their clinical skills through post-professional training in examination, evaluation, clinical reasoning, manual therapy skills, and patient management based upon the practice dimensions described in the Description of Specialty Practice for Orthopaedic Physical Therapy.
