HEAR FROM SOME OF OUR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

“I particularly valued the consistent support from both lab assistants and lecturers, who were always available to help with any questions. The university also provided additional support through bootcamps, office hours, and the peer support scheme, which helped me with my studies.”

Pharmaceutical Sciences with Industrial Practice MSc

“My advice to future students is take full advantage of the placement year in industrial practice. It’s a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build industry connections.”

Yifan Huang

China

Business Analytics MSc

“The campus environment is close to nature and it is more like a park where you can chill rather than just a place to study. Moreover, the location of campus is also a critical factor, a 10-minute walking distance to Guildford railway station and a 40-minute train ride to central London.”

Shazliya Zuhri

Iran/Saudi Arabia

Social Psychology MSc

“I have found Surrey to be really diverse and inclusive. While the University is large enough to offer a broad range of experiences, it is small enough to create a sense of community, belonging and a home away from home.”

Koo (Zach) Yui Sun

Hong Kong

International Hospitality Management BSc

“The course is very interactive: we don’t just sit there and listen to the theories. Instead, we have interactive sessions, such as running a hotel using a simulator, attending food and wine tastings, and visiting hotels, theme parks and presentations.”
